Tempest liked these lands; where the trees offered coverage and the fog made everything shadowed. Dangerous. It would suit Manisk Mordare very, very well. The wolves here were already getting used to their new surroundings, and after installing a basic code of conduct they were set loose and given their own separate duties. The only thing that the alpha was pondering over now was the lack of a hunter; the pack had plenty of fighters, but he needed epsilons damn it. Either way, the male would ignore it for now; the ranks had filled up well enough out of previous members of Raefarn. Now; they needed to scout for potential new pack mates. They would need to grow in numbers, and it had to happen fast; for Tempest had things that he wanted to do. The plans lolligagging within his mind were driving him crazy. So much bloodshed waiting to happen; but he couldn't do it on his own. He didn't want to do it on his own.
First he would need to send someone to scout the area past the burned forests that they once called home. Anything that was still alive would be torn apart, especially humans and ex-Karn members. Tempest had little to care about when it came to the pack of do-gooders that had surely disbanded. As long as they stayed a weakened force, they were a thing of the past. An advantage and disadvantage; because not knowing of the enemy was a whole different ballgame. He would have to get a spy or two; to see what other packs were forming, what the wolves here were capable of when they were part of a unit. And once Tempest knew of their strength? He would bring the Mordare's wrath down on them in ways they couldn't imagine.
For now, they needed better knowledge of the area. He could navigate through Rafaern with his eyes closed, he would do the same with these grounds. Heaving body started the ascent up the pack's sliver of the mountain. It was where the pack's dens were, in a cave quite a few feet upward. Without being led there it would be nearly impossible to ambush, especially with the fog that surrounded the area. Green eyes peered inside, and he growled, calling for whoever was inside. "Get up, you can slack off later."

Reflection smiled in the darkness, her eyes the shade that used to blend into the forest. She came out of the cave with blood on her muzzle. "I wasn't slacking sir, I was killing off a couple of the old Karn pack, none of importance, but Karn all the same." She put her ears back out of respect and bowed her head slightly, using her head to point at the two wolf carasses in the middle of the cave floor. She looked at him. "The best kind of human lover is a dead one sir. They were trying to ambush me so I dealt with the problem." She moved out of his way. He could examine the disgusting creatures on his own." I was going to call you to see if you would like to use them for meat." She Yawned. Though she looked relaxed, Reflection was on her guard. She didn't trust the Alpha as far as she could shake water off her fur, but she needed to get his attention so that he wouldn't question her loyalties. If she could do that, She wouldn't have to bother trying to impress the brute. She waited for his reply.

Tempest was surprised; how the hell had she managed to drag these wolves into their dens? The alpha didn't know whether to laugh or sneer; why the fuck, would you bloody the place the pack sleeps with blood that wasn't even from these lands. The amount of torment that the dead went through was delicious to think about though; Tempest sighed, stepping in, and ignoring Reflection completely as he walked past her. Effortlessly he dragged each carcuss out of the cave, letting it tumble down the bit of mountain that was below. Their limp bodies rolled with far too much ease, coming to a stop at the base, in a little pile of limbs and blood and death.
Tempest laughed.
Something horrible and giddy and almost happy; at the sight of the dead. Something was so very funny, about the way a limp body rolled. The laugh itself was short lived though, over as quickly as it started. The alpha looked back at the Zeta, his visage emotionless as he stared her down. "You're right of course, they're better off dead." He chuckled; "I'm surprised they had the strength to try and attack with the burns that littered their bodies; but they did stay in dying lands. Stupid is as stupid does." The monster rolled his eyes, those iridescent greens that could never truly be trusted.
"Meat, hm? Well I suppose I am hungry..." Meat. That was all that these dead things were now anyways. But food? Tempest thought back to Raefarn's first alpha, eating the bludgeoned body of his father. He had lost his mind, and wasn't fit to lead himself into a fucking tree. He bristled, cannibalism, wasn't something that he could enjoy and it was all that old bat's fault. Curse him in his burned down grave; although really, cursing him would probably cause him to dance in the ashes. He was batshit insane; and Tempest wondered whether it ran in the family because Cafall had his moments where he made the alpha wonder.
"But not for them. What good is sinking my teeth into filth?" He growled, frowning at the female. "Help me drag them out of the territory."

The femme watched the bodies roll down the cliff. She was neither sad nor happy as she watched them roll jump over certain ramp like rocks. As they came to a stop she heard her alpha laugh. Her ears perked. This had never hear him laugh before and it almost seemed like it pained Tempest to do so. Her head went up just as his smile faded. As he started speaking again, she listened intently. She wasn't sure that he would actually resort to cannibalism. When he told her do Go down to the bodies and help drag them out. Reflection quickly jumped down from the cave, swiftly moving from rock to rock as she made her way to the corpses. She stared at the bodies for a few moments before grabbing both the dead by their tails and started dragging them. She dragged them for a good distance before looking at the cave, wondering if he wanted her to continue on her own or if he wanted to tag along. The bodies didn't seem to make her strain herself and she seemed to be easily dragging the carcasses. She was willing to drag them outside the territory by herself, she was strong and willing to prove it if she had to. One of her ears flicked back in a curious pose to see if Tempest was going to move.

Tempest was going to help the girl out, but if she wanted to carry them both at the same time that was her business. He should probably have warned her not to drag their bodies by their tails, but their scruff; lest she want to rip the tails off... not that he cared, but it would give her something extra to carry and they really weren't worth all of the trouble. He followed after her, his lime eyes strangely content. Although in all actuality he was bored; wondered what he could do to get Reflection here ticking. Staring at the female, he watched as she looked back, waiting for him to catch up or something he assumed. She was one of his newer members, a Zeta here in the Mordare; and she had proven her strength; sure. Killing two ex-Karn, although he doubted it was very hard after what the mangled mutts had been through, it proved that she had the mindset of the wolves that lived here. Or at least, was starting to get it. There was something about her actions that seemed practiced; like she wasn't truly as malevolent a being as she was trying to be.
The alpha caught up to the smaller wolf in a few quick strides, grabbing one of the bodies from her, pulling while she wasn't looking and causing the tail of the dead lupine to snap; and he came out with most of the horrible thing. The ripping sound make him laugh once again, and he hurried ahead of Reflection to dump the body at the border. His speed would hopefully be enough to tell the girl to hurry the hell up; he didn't feel like waiting on her.
When they reached the border the alpha tossed the body, letting it flop a good foot or so away from him. His tail wagged just so, and he grinned back at his Zeta. "Help me rip them up." It was barked as an issue, and order, consequences would exist if she didn't do what she was told. Yet there was something dwelling in his voice that was mirthful. He was having fun; this was the strange alpha's fucking playtime and this poor female had become rather caught up in a very, very sick game. But this wasn't something that he was doing just too; but this was his warning, the first of many that would mark the Mordare's territory. The bones and mangled bodies of a couple of murdered ex-Karn would litter this particular border. More would surely come as this pack grew, in size and reputation. This would be the perfect home for the wolves here.
Tempest wanted to do a bit of decorating.

When she felt the tail snap, Reflection had to force her ears to stay forward. It wasn't the fact that she didn't like the sound of the dead human lovers breaking apart, it was the fact the the jerk of the motion had surprised her. She thought it best not to show weakness in front of her alpha as she saw him start to walk. She looked at him curiously as she followed him to the border. As he asked her to rip apart the bodies, she immediately set to work. Even though Reflection didn't act it, she was very cruel hearted. She just kept her wits about her and kept her emotions under control when possible. Emotion showed weakness, and that is why the ex-Karn had died. They thought she was alone and needed the company, but instead she ripped them to shreds without a second thought. She watched as Tempest spread the body parts along the border.
She watched silently as the older male spread the parts along the border, wondering if it was enough warning. Tempest seemed to be enjoying himself, so she didn't want to spoil his fun as she watched him pick from the shred of body parts to decorate and design the outside of his lands. She was sure there would be repercussions if she did.
