Golden honey colored eyes gazed silently over the vast openness of the Cian pack territory. Those same eyes watched as small creatures scattered as snow white paws carried a sturdy looking brute closer to the pack lines.
The brute could tell this was a small pack and had a feeling that they would accept just about anyone to gather more strength. He flicked his white and red tail slightly behind him as his large paws carried him smoothly over the territory border. He sat back on his thick haunches before tilting his head back and letting out a long low howl, calling the brutes and bitches of this pack to where he sat.
After he established that he was here he relaxed himself and gazed around the flat terrain. No trees, no rocks, nothing. He was curious as to how a pack dwelled here, especially one as small as this he only could smell four, maybe five wolves here and only one alpha....a female alpha at that. This must be a strong willed pack to be able to survive in this barren lands. He knew of the other two packs in this area, and he knew them well seeing as how he had temporarily became pack mates with the two. He knew that Karn was kind to the humans and even though they were kind they were also strict. He also knew that Rafærn was crazy. Wolves killing each other, murdering humans left and right. He vanished from that pack quickly enough.

The beta had been exploring their new home as soon as he had gotten the chance, and it wasn't really much to speak of. Rocks and yellow grass covered most of the small stretch that the Cian pack had been forced to move onto. What made it more humiliating was that they had kept a low profile, while before the fire had devastated their real home and hearts, they had been feared as the strongest warrior pack. But the fire had changed all of that. The damned fire that had left their fertile, green lands a smoldering wasteland, and turned their pack-mates into charred corpses. Sylphid had never realized how much he had loved his life until after he had watched innocent pups scream as they were consumed by the ugly monstrosity that was fire. And those wretched humans who were too cowardly to kill wolves with their own hands. A lone howl rose into the air, and the handsome brute was pulled from his anguished thoughts. Spurring his body into a graceful run, the beta soon arrived close to the border, and there was a brute sitting there. He had coarse red and white fur, and he had quite a few battle scars, Sylphid noted, by the piece missing from his ear. Slowing to an elegant walk, the beta walked closer, his head high as he spoke in his gentle, soft voice he used typically for strangers. "Welcome, stranger, to the Cian pack. Do you have business with us?"

Shinuku did not have long to wait before someone from the pack found him. He ran his honey colored gaze over the brute silently for a moment as he spoke then grinned faintly.
"That I do." He said simply as he curled his busy tail around his haunches, "I am Shinuku Arashi. I wish to join this pack and help you grow in strength as well as number." He explained as he turned his eyes to look at a rabbit that scampered from one bush and into another, "I also have information to help you with the other packs here and anything else you need. I have lived around these lands my whole life as basically a loner."
He hoped that the pack would be interested in his information he carried with him. The best places to hunt, information on the packs, as well as places to be safe from the humans.

"The howl of a stranger. This should prove interesting." Gawain haven't done anything interesting since his argument with Jarl. Argument, which had such an unfortunate ending. His wounded leg made hunting so much harder and more annoying. Maybe this stranger wants to become an epsilon. This would be useful. Gawain missed having underlings. Irritating them was amusing, and they were so convenient. But they were dead. All of them. So unfortunate. Gawain wondered if he could remember their names. No, he preferred to give them nicknames, they weren't as boring as names. Anyway, both nicknames and names are worthless. Useless without their owner.
As Gawain drew closer he could hear Sylph speak. So, the only wolf he called his friend was here? That should make things even more interesting. Then the stranger answered. He claimed to have some information. Gawain's eyes sparkled with excitement. He loved information. He loved everything that gave him advantage. Knowledge is so useful, it can be used in so many ways. Advanced plans, traps, deceptions, treasons, intrigues...very fascinating. If what he says is true, Gawain might have something to do for some time.
He approached slowly, with his usual mask of displeasure. He removed it only for a moment when he mumbled "Good to see you" to Sylph. He tried not to limp, but it was quite hard. Jarl wasn't very gentle. It will heal, but it will take some time. As he looked at the stranger he allowed himself to show some curiosity.
"The information you speak of should be interesting...unless you are making it up. I do hope it's true though. What position are you interested in? You would be welcome as a hunter... if you are accepted, that's it."

Nina strolled around her territory, mapping out a route to take the pack on a run. if they knew her well, then they could look forwards to a decent and challenging run. She loved to throw objects in their paths and see how they would react to it, and also keep them on their toes.
A low howl sounded in the distance. At once Nina pulled out that protective fierce alpha she was. Hell she knew she could be down right bitchy to strangers, and well, she had the right to be. Tail raised as high as possible, ears forwards and head held up high as well, she trotted to the borders. Her flame colored orbs burned with unknown emotions and thoughts. Each step was taken with purpose and pride.
Amber form slowed to a slow and silent walk as she drew near. Being downwind she hide by the pure luck of a single bush to listen. The red and white stranger, was interesting, but she was displeased with Gawain being so ready to want this brute in the pack. With a shake of her elegant head and marched forwards. Eyes pinned down the stranger till she right her Beta's side. One glance at Gawain's leg and he might know what she was thinking."He should have known better.... It had been a fast flicker of the eyes but it would be enough if her Lead Elipson saw it.
Orbs looked the strange brute up and down carefully, seeing if he was worthy of possibly joining."What is your name stranger? And give me a good reason why you should be accepted rather than shredded apart?" Her voice had a sting to it, burning like her eyes, no emotion though was held. Emotions were pointless and gone for this moment. Her only thought was that her pup would not wake up from the den and come here.

Shinuku listened to Gawain speak and was about to answer before Nina came onto the scene. He blinked and twitched his ears as he looked at her, 'This must be the alpha....yeah.....authority, power, defiantly the alpha female.....' He thought before bowing his head.
"Madam. My name is Shinuku Arashi. As I have told the wolf to your side there, I have information regarding the other two packs in the area as well as information on these lands. I can tell you are new here and I wish to be of help to you and your pack." He explained in a smooth voice. He was obviously quick witted and knew how to speak with people.
After he had spoken with Nina and awaited her answer, he turned to Gawain, "Actually. I would prefer to be a fighter. Always more interesting....to me anyway." He said, still speaking in that smooth voice of his.

Information? That would be quite useful. Sylphid mused about this as he watched in silence as Gawain arrived on the scene, returning his greeting with a nod. Listening, he felt amused at the fact that Gawain was trying to recruit the stranger so quickly. Did the epsilon already miss his underlings? At that thought, Sylph nearly laughed. Fang wasn't the type of wolf who would miss his underlings for any other reason than the fact that they were his underlings. Containing the laugh, Sylphid instead wore a wisp of a smile, but it turned into a faint frown as he quickly spotted his friend's limp. The other brute usually never let his pain show, but he seemed to have trouble holding this one in, which could only mean that it hurt, very, very much. However, the beta resisted the urge to ask if he was alright, as it would probably hurt the other brute's pride. Nina soon arrived on the scene, stopping right next to Sylph. The alpha seemed to be trying to stare down the stranger as she asked her question. Sylphid felt happy as Nina seemed to be returning to her normal self. But her words weren't exactly the best of choice, though they did show the power she held. Sylph had always preferred using words of a gentler nature, and always ended up fixing the relations of the pack with other packs using those same words. But who was he to judge one of his closest friends for her sharp tongue? Listening to the stranger introduce himself to the gathered wolves, the beta nodded his head in a form of acknowledgment, and spoke. "That is an interesting offer, Shinuku Arashi." He said, his voice calm and soothing. Turning to Nina, he murmured words that were low enough so that only she could hear them. "Nina, it would be wise to give this wolf a chance. We know nothing of these lands and he is offering to help us." Actually, the beta would support his friend no matter what decision she made.

Full attention was upon this strange male, one who seemed calm and level headed even when she spoke her words. Forever Nina would up hold Cian as fierce wolves to any stranger that crossed their lands. If they were to be known by others it would be as the fierce warrior pack. Whether the pack was much smaller than what they used to be, they would always be Cian and tough. Nothing would change who they were, no matter what life threw at them, they would in time overcome it.
information huh? Could he possibly be a spy? I'll have to keep a close eye on him..oh..i'll leave that to Christoph. She thought to herself. Her one ear turned ever so slightly to Sylph as he whispered to her but her orbs remained on Shinuku. She padded over to him to slowly walk a close circle around him, studying him carefully. She would not have anything to do with a lier or traitor in her pack. Should one ever be in her pack, she would personally kill them.
Standing back in front of Shinuku her gaze softened slightly."Well then Shinuku Arashi, i Nina Talutah welcome you to Cian pack. You will be under watch till you have proven trustworthy. This here is Sylph my Beta, that is Fang my Lead Elipson male. There is Christoph my Gamma and my pup Rajani. Should you show any threat or harm to any of my members i will kill you." Her voice was serious but held a slight warmth of welcome."You say you prefer to be a fighter do you not? We shall see if Christoph approves of it for he will be in command to you as Sylph and I." She added. Then her gaze shifted to Gawain for a moment. We need more hunters.. She then turned to Sylph."Sylph, Fang what do you think of Shinuku Arashi as a new member of Cian?" She asked and sat down on her rump. She liked to get her pack's opinions and this would be the start for Shinuku to gain their trust.

So Shin doesn't want to be a hunter. Too bad. It could be interesting, but first things first. Gawain was surprised that Nina just accepted the fact that Jarl escaped, without even telling a word to the one responsible. He'll need to talk to her about it. She shouldn't place Christoph on Jarl's spot yet. He can still come back...or be brought back. Gawain will find him all by himself if he has too, things can't remain unfinished. But now, Sylph was obviously worried about his leg, and Nina asked about something. What it was again...? What they think about Shin.
"I have no objections. It seems he is calm and patient enough to be a decent hunter, but he won't be a good hunter if he doesn't want to be one, no? But sure, I'll accept him if Ja-... Christoph... won't. Either way, I'll want him to report all of his information to me when you finish with him... Oh, and we need to talk Nina, about you-know-what. Sylph, you are invited to the party as well. That's all I have to say now."

Shinuku's ears flicked as Sylph spoke and he nodded before looking to Nina as she spoke.
"I would never dream of harming anyone in your pack." He said smoothly as he bowed his head lowly, "Before this I was nothing but a humble wanderer. Tis why I know so much of these lands." He explained.
~Enter Christoph~
As Nina, Sylph and Gawain spoke with the new wolf, Christoph watched from the shadow's quietly. So this new brute wished to become gamma as well? This intrigued the giant brute. Seeing as Jarl was no where around now, Christoph was the only gamma within the pack.
Slowly the giant brute made his way over the the group and looked down at Shinuku, "So you are a fighter? Rather small for a fighter......" He droned out in his deep voice as he moved to sit near Sylph and Nina.

"I approve of him. On the other hand, as Christoph says, he is a tad bit small, but Fang looks more like a gamma than an epsilon, and he's better at hunting, so we'll see" He said, taking note of the massive brute's words. Deciding to add, the brute then said "Welcome to the Cian, Shinuku Arashi" With that, he glanced at Nina, sending a quick what now? look. It seemed that the ritual was completed, unless the Alphess wanted Shinuku to take a physical test. It happened every so often, but mostly it was for sport.
