OOC: This is for Jarl, Kain, Reflection, and Tempest.
After the meeting by the river, Kain had returned to his home lands with Reflection, his beloved, and Jarl, their new possible pack-mate. He nuzzled Reflection a bit as he led the small group over the borders before throwing his head back and letting out a long low howl that said, 'New possible member, come quickly.'
Once he had done that he sat down and rested his neon green eyes upon the she-wolf he wished to run beside him as a gamma female.
"Once the alpha has squared him away we can talk to him about having you as my gamma female." He said, a small wolfish grin crawling over his muzzle, "As well as the possibility of bringing new life into this insane world of ours."
At the thought of actually making himself a family, the normally cold-hearted and blood-thirsty brute wagged his tail and grinned wider, "I can imagine it now...... He growled happily as he closed his eyes, the grin never leaving his muzzle.

The female smiled a bit. She was still kind of out of it. The pain was still making her head spin. She put her head down and sighed. At least kain was happy.
She leaned against Jarl. He was so warm. She felt so cold. Thé blood loss was really starting to get to her. Thé Wolf heard something and her ears flicked back. She hoped for once Tempest would be swift of foot and get hère quickly.
She started feeling tired again."i'm tired. i need to sleep. Please dont kill each other while i sleep." she yawned.
She closes her eyes. She started to dream thogh she didnt want to. She tried to push thé dream out of her mind though it didnt work. She was dreaming of having pups with kain. She hoped that they would look like kain as they did in her dream.
She smiled a bit and rolled onto her side. It was like she was in another world. She smiled a bit wider. She was happy that she couldnt push this dream out of her mind.
She sighed and a tear slid down her cheek as thé dream twisted into a nightmare.
Ooc: sorry its so short. On an iPod and dont think i can add more.

While one might wish to deny it, the fact was, nonetheless, true. Jarl had changed. He was no longer the wolf he used to be, no longer the beaten and broken gamma male that he had been. Then again, he was no longer a wolf of Cian, and maybe that change had been just the thing the old brute needed. A 'breath of fresh air' so to speak. At any rate, Jarl was not the same as he had been.
He had, even gone so far as to bathe his wounds in the refreshing water of the river, taking a moment to himself before following Kain and Reflection back to their pack territory. He was glad to know that Kain would take his place as Reflection's mate. It was obvious that the two cared about each other, and Jarl was glad to see someone else who had the she-wolf's attention. Not that he had anything against Reflection, no, he found her to be quite lovely indeed, but the old wolf wasn't ready just yet to settle down, especially with someone so much younger then himself, and he worried that the she-wolf might mistake his general care and responsibility towards her as affection. So at finding that she would mate this young black wolf, he could only be pleased, and hope that she would be happy, and still remain his friend.
He knew he would ask for the position of a gamma, but, he had since gained that this young Kain was the gamme male. This displeased Jarl slightly. Not that he thought the young male...incapeable, but he wasn't that good at receiving orders, and frankly, wasn't crazy about being told what to do by a mere pup.
Jarl sighed. That was however, the way things were run when you joined a pack that was not your own. He would have to settle with what he could get, even if it displeased him. A tiny voice whispered in his brain that if he wanted, he could always return to Cian. The silver-eyes brute snorted. There was no way they'd take him back. He had attacked another member in cold blood. Could have killed him if he hadn't halucinated the late pack leader at the last moment. No, there was no way they'd want him back, and even if he did return, crawling on his belly like the scum he was, he wouldn't deserve anything better then the rank of Omega. Surely he didn't deserve his old position.
Jarl broke from his thoughts, as he felt Reflection leave his shoulder and lay down to sleep. Shaking his head, the brute looked around in wonderment. How strange, how truely strange this night had become. Here he was, with two members of one of the neighboring packs, entering into their territory to request a rank amounst them. It was all just so...odd. He glanced around, not liking the looks of the place, missing Cian's newest aquisition of territory. At least it was open, and sunny, not dark and cold like this terrain. His silver eyes glinted in the dim light, sparkling unevenly and casting an eerie glow upon his face. He wasn't sure if he would stay, or for how long. He was, at this point, going where the wind lead him, especially now that his responsability was waning. Reflection didn't need him anymore, she had Kain, and she was safe with her pack. That left Jarl with no ties holding him down. He would stay as long as he willed, but after that, he would move on.
The world was a big place, and there was much of it to see.

A howl sounded that oddly made the young white female wag her tail in excitement. She had somehow found herself liking Kain, respecting him. And why wouldn't she? He after all had saved her from Reflection and was willing to train her. Kain was her new..friend, mentor, ally. Or so she hopped so. So long had she secretly been longing for someone just to pay attention to her, something, anything. Raji was gone and she was unsure where she stood with Tempest, and Buzz had seemed to vanish. She didn't know Moonlight hardly at all, and the adult females made her worry for her life.
Astraea shook her whole body, turning away from her hunting to race off to meet Kain and this new possible member. Her small arctic body moved with some impressive speed for the blood lines in her. Tiny pup seemed to emerge from the darkness, like a light. Her dark blue eyes held excitement till she saw Reflection and how large the strange male was. Coming to a walk she silent walked over to Kain and grinned. She dipped her head to him in greeting but after that her blue eyes turned hard and untrusting to the new male."What are you suppose to be? A Tree that walks around?" She hissed. He was so big, and much older. He was in her mind very much like an old tree.
She snorted and looked away to the sleeping Reflection. She was unsure how to feel towards the female and if she should keep her distance if she woke up. For this she looked to Kain, trusting him. It was then she scented blood. At once her eyes were glued to Reflection. A shiver passed through her and she walked over, looking at the wounded leg. With great care she laid herself bravely next to the female and gently began to clean the wound. She couldn't explain why she did this, to a female she did not trust. Perhaps it was because it reminded her of her mother.

Relfection opened her eyes. The tiny pup was licking her wounds, very strange indeed. She smiled and licked the wolf, like Zane used to lick her.
"Pup...Don't talk to Jarl that way."
She nuzzled him as well. He was still here. Even now he seemed like something she had dreamt out of her own mind. Even the fact that he was real and was next to her seemed.....Surreal.
She looked at Kain and smiled again. She still couldn't believe that he wanted her....even though she did stupid things that almost got her killed. Her green eyes softened when she looked at him. She was just happy that he was around her.
Everything right now seemed out of focus. It was still blurry. She blinked some a bit. It helped somewhat but it still seemed like the edges around things were slightly blurred. She laid her head back down. She sighed.
"Jarl....You will stay....Won't you?" she pleaded the older wolf. She never wanted him to leave. He was like a second brother to her and that was something she couldn't lose. Not again. She leaned against him. He was still here....For now.
She sighed and closed her eyes. She felt like everything was all a dream. It scared her. She didn't want it to slip away from her paws. She felt a tear slide down the cheek as she thought of all of this falling away into the darkness, leaving her alone once again.

Moonlight watched everything. He haven't met Reflection before, but he did hear about her. Kain wasn't as crazy as he thought, while Astraea was just as insolent as he thought. The stranger, Jarl was even bigger than Moonlight, although he grew a little recently. He seemed to be quite older than everyone else here. He probably was somewhere around before...why did he decide to join now? And how did he meet Reflection and Kain? Well, enough watching. It's time for some action.
Moonlight walked out of his hideout and looked at everyone with his yellow eyes.
"Astraea, you are as insolent as always. Making everyone hate you isn't that bright when you are around bloodthirsty wolves." Moonlight grinned. That pup can be useful in the future, but killing her now would be so pleasant, she was so noisy... he chased these thoughts away. They weren't useful now. "Reflection, I believe we haven't met before. I am Moonlight, the Beta of Rafærn. Looks like you had an unfortunate accident... and that you will be part of a big happy family, huh? Kain, I would never expect you to be such a lady killer. And Jarl, is it? I apologize for her behaviour, she still has to learn how to keep her mouth shut. Now, don't be shy, say something. After all, you have to tell me why the hell you are here. Unless you don't want to live much longer... So, speak while I'm still interested." He added a warning to his voice when he spoke to Jarl. He should know that this place isn't Karn, or any other happy place with lots of flowers and love.

Jarl waited for the arrival of the pack's Alpha, tail relaxed and limp by his side. He was unusually confident. Thought's chased themselves around in his cranium, and Jarl let them float by without much of a care. It was then, that a tiny white pup came barreling towards them, and then slowed to a walk. Jarl nearly beamed. She was so cute, he wondered who her parents were...how she reminded him of Riot... Jarl shook his head, chasing the battered thoughts from his mind. They weren't his pack anymore. "What are you suppose to be? A Tree that walks around?"Jarl grinned at the little one, and sunk down to the ground so as to be at eye-level with the pup, and not tower over her. "Well hello little one." He chuckled, soft and deep. "I guess I am a tree. Only I move a bit better." He said, smile playing about his labrums. "What is your name?" But the little one had moved off, seeking other company, with the injured Reflection. Jarl remained where he was on the ground, awaiting the presence of the Alpha. "Pup...Don't talk to Jarl that way."Jarl's silvery gaze darted to Reflection. He smiled at her, finding himself even more relaxed in the presence of the feisty pup. "It's all right Reflection. She's still young." "Jarl....You will stay....Won't you?"The brute's gaze turned and danced along the few nearby tree stumps. He wasn't going to make a promise he could keep. That he wasn't even sure he would keep. "Reflection...I..." The heavy brute launched to his pads as another wolf, a young black male, similar to Kain, approached the group. He wasn't sure who this wolf was, if he be the Rafaern Alpha or not, but with the way he spoke to the brute, he must have some kind of power. Jarl dipped his head respectfully, but met Moonlight's gaze with his own silvery orbs, when his head reached his ascent again. He made eye contact out of trust, not out of desire of a challenge. "Greetings. My dubbance is Jarl, and I have come here in hopes of joining and serving your pack." He wasn't worried about the thread hidden in the black wolf's speech. Jarl was a general among wolves, and had much more battle experience then probably any wolf here.

Neon eyes opened as Astrea answered his howl. He smiled when she dipped her head and blinked at what she said to Jarl.
"He is a tree huh?" He asked with a laugh as he watched Astrea move over to Reflection and start to lick her wounds, "Careful...." He murmured though blinked when the she-wolf woke and didn't attack Astrea. This made him smile as he lay down and flicked his tail, though sat back up when Moonlight came onto the scene and frowned slightly.
He listened though as the bigger dark wolf spoke, blinking slightly in surprise at hearing that he was beta.
"Wait.....I thought Tempest was beta.....what did I miss?" He asked as he stared at Moonlight with a frown. He didn't trust Moonlight and never really had and now that the brute was claiming to be beta, that just made his blood boil.

A call, and then noise noise noise. The alpha had no hard time finding the growing group of wolves, although was pleased to see that Moonlight had come and tried to calm things down. He didn't catch their conversation, but recognized Kain; whom he hadn't seen for quite some time. And Reflection, the female that he had seen on a rarer occasion than the gamma male. The last was a stranger, male, mexican gray that smelled of territories that hadn't been claimed. A loner... but not. He would have to look into that.
"My call apparently." Tempest's low voice cut through the conversation, directed at Kain's inability to show after he killed the alpha. Pity, it was quite the news; and would have been quite the tip. "Where has my lead gamma been the past few days? Out with these two I'd assume?" He motioned toward Reflection and Jarl, one was wounded and possibly had fainted; and the other he hadn't acquired an interest in just yet. "You've missed some things, but don't worry, I'll catch you up in due time." He said, lime green eyes slightly mocking the other brute. He was a bit pissed that Kain had wandered off so long, but would keep it at that.
"Raijan won't be showing, but if you need a member accepted you can always talk to the alpha." He grinned, looking over at Jarl. Time for business, and to see where this brute stood with the rest of Rafaern. He reeked of a noble air and Tempest had a feeling that wouldn't stand well here in this dark pack. If he wasn't torn down by the wolves here they would rip his morals to shreds. "You're the brute the call was for. So do you want to join Rafaern or not."

Astraea heard the Tree talk to her as she started to pad away. She had cast him a glance over her shoulder but nothing more. He was new and thus she would get to know him till he joined, if Tempest approved. Ears flicked towards Kain as he laughed at what she said."Well from my point of view and eye level..yes." She simply stated but couldn't help but grin. She looked at Tree again,"Astraea.." She answered his question about her name. But again her blue gaze turned to Kain at his next words. She nodded softly.
As she laid there carefully cleaning the wounds on Reflection her body was ready to leap out of the way if the female snapped. To her surprise she gave her a lick on the head. Astraea stared at Reflection, dazed no doubt. But it lasted only a moment before she wagged her tail and grinned.Finally..finally acceptance! she yelled within herself. But her happiness was cut short as Moony came. She rolled her eyes at him."It would make no difference would it? Plus if you used those so called eyes that eye attached to your face you would see that in fact not all are enemies towards me." She gave a low growl in annoyance. She didn't truly like Moony, she didn't know a damn thing about him and now he was beta.
As Tempest arrived she dipped her head to him but realized she was ignored. She frowned and turned to the confused Kain."Tempest..Took care of Raji in his...disgraceful state. Thus that make Tempest Alpha since he was beta. If i remember the Beta of the pack succeeds the alpha after the Alpha either steps down or dies." She explained and sat up tall, proud she did know one thing about pack life. And knowing Tempest he would straight out say what had happened, so she would instead. Turning to Tempest she spoke to him."Do not be mad at Kain. He has been busy training me rather harshly. And when i got in a fight with Reflection she went off and he went after her." she said and hide her smile. For Kain she would keep up her part of the promise, by making sure that the others thought Kain was tough and harsh on her when he trained her.

Reflection stood, though it pained her immensely. She looked up at Tempest. "This development is....Interesting, to say the least. I never thought That the former alpha could be taken down so easily." She didn't smiled but bowed her head in respect for the new alpha. "I will serve You as faithfully as I had Raj, Unless you kill me for the weakness that I show at the present time"
She slowly went back down and found a comfortable position, which was rather hard considering she was still in pain no matter what she did to relieve it.
She was the closest to Jarl. She would protect Him if necessary. She gave Tempest the look that said 'if you try to hurt him, I don't care who you are, I won't let you hurt him, even If I die from it.' all in her eyes. She nuzzled Jarl and sighed again.
Her thoughts went back to Kain. What would he think of Jarl? Sure, he was nothing more to her brother, but what if he saw it differently? She laid her ears back and looked at the ground. If Kain stopped wanting her It would break whatever she had left for a heart. She, though she would never say it out loud, loved him head over paws loved him.
She looked back at Tempest and wondered what he thought of all of this. He, though ruthless and kind of creepy, did have a functioning mind like the rest of them, unfortunately.

Jarl's silver optics danced as he watched the actions of those around him play out. So far, the brute wasn't too keen on the territory, but he was finding great pleasure in watching the interactions of these 'pack-mates'. He thought he was being observant. It wasn't however, until the brute dubbed Kain spoke, that Jarl realized the wolf who he had spoken with just a moment ago, Moony, was indeed the beta male of Rafaern. He had thought the wolf was a nobody, maybe slightly important. He didn't realize it was the beta to whom he had spoken. Apparently this change was new to the other wolves with him as well. He was about to apologize, for having not shown proper respect, when another brute appeared. There was something off about this wolf. Something that made Jarl feel both dirty and concerned. He wanted a bath, it was glaringly obvious that this was a creature that repelled him in every sense of the word. Every instinct shrieked, squealed, and squalled, begging for him to turn tail and run. But Jarl was not a coward, and he would not run from his foe. Even if the more time he spent with this pack the more he wanted to return to his own. No, he had made his choice...for now. And so would stay for as long as he could stomach it here. Maybe he might even learn something in the process. And maybe even then, Nina wouldn't hate him quite so much for abandoning her and Riot. Riot. He was reminded of her now with the young white pup in this pack of dark, deranged brute. This adorable little thing named Astraea who thought he was a tree. He couldn't help but chuckle and smile every time he chanced to catch her eye. She was such a sweet little thing, even with her biting tongue. In fact, that made her all the more of a treasure to the great brute. He wondered if she liked it here, if she was happy. This didn't seem the place to raise a pup...maybe he could convince her to come away with him, to join Cian. He wasn't sure yet if he could ever go back...it still hurt too much, to think of the disgrace he had done. Attacking his own brethren in cold blood...but still...this pup might be better off in a place where she would truely be cared for. He hoped, even if he could not get her away from here, she would find happiness, somewhere, somehow, eventually. Jarl licked his fangs as the Rafaern Alpha spoke to Kain, in a rather, annoyed, almost angry tone. He imagined he could still taste the blood of humans upon his maw, but it was in fact, long gone. Washed away with the saliva that slicked his throat. He felt Reflection nuzzle him once again. He worried for her in her weakened state. Hopefully she would be okay now that the other pack members were here. Now that she was safe from further harm. But the brute was turning to him now, and he must answer. "Yes sir, if it would be not too much trouble. I would like to request entrance unto your pack." He nearly bit his tongue. That was formal. Too formal. He'd get himself bullied or found out if he kept speaking like that. But what else could he do? Cross his eyes and slobber excessivly over everyone? Rave about killing? No, that just wouldn't do. Jarl was a wolf that had nothing left other then his dignity. And even that he would cling to to the very end.

Reflection stayed by Jarl. She would protect him. She didnt want to havé to fight tempest but she would if it came down to jarl's Life. She was thé one who had wanted him to come here, so it was she who would protect him if thé need had arised. She hoped that a fight wouldn't be exchanged and that they could all be civil, even though that wasn't really possible....especially with thé so called 'beta' loony moony around.
She mentally pleaded with tempest to let Jarl be part of thé pack he would be useful for hunting and fighting. He was strong and wise beyond the years of all of them in life experience. He had benefits that out weighed all of the bad thind gs about having a new pack member. She really wanted Tempest to see this. Jarl had risked his own life to save hers for the moons sake!
She tried to calm herself. She had to keep a level head if any of this was going to work out. Hey, she may have been a bit out of it but she knew that Jarl should be accepted into the pack. They could use his knowledge and wisdom. Why couldn't tempest see any of this? Maybe she was just having delusions.....she didn't know anything anymore. All she knew now was that she was In immense pain from being the stupid wolf she was. She sighed and laid her head on her paws.... Keeping up on high alert for trouble or a fight.
