Humans have plagued the canine species for centuries. Chasing off their food with their growth of civilization, and scorching the land with their wars. Some wolves live in fear of humans, and avoid them at all costs. Others loathe the creatures, and wish to use them to sate the blood-lust that runs high in their veins. Still others choose to live peacefully amongst mankind. With all these packs living so close to each other, struggling for territory, it’s easy to see how fights and wars are commonplace. Who will you join? To which pack will you give your support?
Torn is a semi-realistic, somewhat "plot-less" literate, wolf RP, that was originally set around the conflicts between two rival packs and a third incoming pack. Now, thanks to humans and their fire, the packs have been disbanded and the wolves scattered. It's up to them to rebuild their lives and try to put the pieces back together, as well as deal with conflict from other local wolves. Only you can decide their fate. We have a very active, loyal member base, and are very friendly. Please feel free to come on in and join the madness and fun!

Autumn is gentle this season, the evenings cold and chilly, but the days still warm. The cold is increasing slowly though, and it wont be long before you find yourself in the dead of winter.

Pack Lands
Green Hollow Settled in the lush forests of Torn, Vlarindara has claimed a hollowed tree for the pack den - the opening within the tree large enough to house four adult wolves easily. Where the den has been claimed lies within a 'clearing' of trees deep within the forests. The clearing is simply a sparser gathering of the tall red and cedarwood trees that make up the lands. Food is plentiful in these woods - larger prey like deer and the occasional wandering moose can be found in these woods. Other creatures are just as plentiful - but beware..with the more open areas between the trees, larger creatures such as black, brown and grizzly bears can be found traversing the land. As the lands are settled close enough to the river that the wolves might get a drink when they require it, the woods are hardly without both water or game for the pack. Manisk Mordare Manisk Mordare is located in the depths of a secluded forest near the mountains. The trees here are surprisingly tall; but often times the area is quiet. Covered in a fog that varies in density, being ambushed here is something every wolf that trespasses should come prepared for. Prey flourishes during the spring and summer, but becomes more scarce in other seasons. In winter, the area becomes brown and lifeless, the only movement coming from the wolves that thrive there and the fog that rolls in blankets the area. Moderators: ~Ice Blitz~, >>Haptic
Scarred Memories Plentiful pray in all seasons from the smallest of rabbits to the largest of elk and deer. Being near the mountains, cave space is plentiful and with the lake and river nearby the water is plentiful as well. Moderators: ~Ice Blitz~, Wulfie
Forests Lush green forests abundant with small prey and the occasional deer. These make a great place to relax and escape the heat of the summer, or the winter snows. Moderator: ~Ice Blitz~

Meadow A very fertile, green meadow filled with many different kinda of flowers. Small prey can be found here, as well as grazing herds of deer, when the season is right. Moderator: ~Ice Blitz~

The Mountains Sharp jagged young mountains that reach up to the sky as if they knew no earthly limits. There is few large prey here, except the sheep that live high up on the cliffs. Be careful here, the rocks are fairly loose. Moderator: ~Ice Blitz~

River A nice peacful place for most adult wolves. However, pups beware! The current can be very stong in places. There are lots of tasty fish here, if a wolf doesn't mind a little water. Moderator: ~Ice Blitz~

Waterfall Where there's a river, there's surely a waterfall. This can be a peacefull calming place to a wolf who know what its doing, and doesn't accidentally fall in. There are lots of small prey items around here. Moderator: ~Ice Blitz~
Contests Occasionally, there will be site-wide contests that members can participate in. They will generally be run by the admin, and can be found here. Moderator: ~Ice Blitz~
