Kain listened to her quietly as she spoke and snorted a bit, rolling his neon green eyes.
"You better not be poking fun at my size again......" He grumbled, narrowing his eyes a bit as he stood up and started to circle her slowly, "I really don't like people poking fun at my size....." He snorted as he flicked his white tipped tail and stopped in front of her again, sitting back on his haunches once more.
"The only way I could even begin to do anything is if I knew where you currently at with fighting." He said, twitching his ears back a bit as he heard something rustling around behind him, "Also we would need something to fight.........maybe I could go get Buzz......" He snickered, licking his chops at the thought of picking on the dog in wolf's clothing.

Reflection walked out of the shadows. She looked at Kain, bloodied muzzle and all. She looked at the pup. Kain's fighting style would get her killed. Her green eyes glared at the wolf, what right did she have to asked Kain anything?
She was hoping that there was another deer out here. She was hungry. This would have been a good chance to have a chat with the only wolf that she talked to. He was the only one that she came close to trusting except for the alpha. He was the only one who understood the pain that she had experienced.
She sat on small rock. She hoped that the male would say no. She didn't want the pup around. She wasn't the kind of wolf that you mess with. She growled softly. She didn't have to talk to know that this in itself was a bad idea.
She kept quiet and waited for the wolf's response to this pup's ridiculous suggestion. He wouldn't teach her how to fight. He wasn't that kind of wolf. He did have a soft spot but it wasn't big enough to teach her. She glared at th pup again for asking that of Kain. He wouldn't seriously give thought to this. It wasn't like him at all. Her ears went back. If he was really considering this, he was truely crazy. She laid down and watched as the madness was about to unfold.

Astraea rolled her own eyes as Kain got up to grumble about his size and circle her. She didn't turn to watch him, but her ears turned back as she listened to him walk around her. What is the deal with him and size?! She thought she shook her head."No i am not. Honestly i think being smaller gives the advantage in a fight, easier to slip out of things and more nimble." She replied.
If a wolf could smack their of forehead, Astraea would have at Kain's words."Really now, do i look like i know anything about fighting? Have you seen me learn how to? No, no you haven't. And no i know nothing on fighting. Those i must learn from the beginning correct?" Her blue eyes narrowed. She didn't like the suggestion of using Buzz as a toy. But Buzz could help her, she knew Kain would be tough, and she was sure Buzz would feel better if it was them two that practiced and not her and Kain.
The appearance of another wolf made Astraea grumble. She didn't like the looks this female was giving, and she had wanted to speak with Kain alone."Get lost Bitch, we aren't talking to you." She growled, but her normal spunky and bitchy self wasn't fully behind those words. She just wanted to be left alone, to not always be judged. She was doing all she could so that she would fit in better,to make the pack proud of her and not see her as a burden. Her eyes returned to Kain."Do you think you can help me? If not..that's ok, I'll ask Tempest." She added. She no longer looked to Raji to teach her anything, and that had pained her. Raji had taken her in, saved her really from being eaten and no he was no longer around much.

Kain smirked slightly at hearing her point out that smaller size was an advantage in a fight, "That is true, very true." He chuckled.
He frowned slightly at her next words, "That doesn't make it easy.......It is true that one must learn from the beginning, but that makes it so much harder on me.....I don't like things being difficult." He grumbled.
Kain's ears flicked when Reflection entered and he looked up at her, smiling faintly though growled at Astrea's words, "If you act like that towards her then there's no way I'm teaching you anything!" He snapped, his neon colored eyes narrowing as he moved to stand by Reflection, "You need to learn how to respect others." He stated, knowing full well that he didn't seem like he showed much respect, but he showed respect in his own way.

She looked at him. This was unusual for him. He never took her side or asked for her to be respected. If she had eyebrows they would be raised in a confused position.
A cruel smile lit her face as she came up wit a brilliant idea.
The pup needed to learn her place. Astraea was an annoyance to Reflection. She rolled her eyes and sighed. It was goiong to be too easy to kill the pup. He put her ears back and moved off of the rock.
She growled at her. The runt would be a small snack. Hopefully Kain and Raj wouldn't kill her for making the pup suffer.
She moved away from Kain. She smirked at the pup. "I will be your first opponent." She got into a fighting stance and growled. She waited for the pup to make the first move, daring the pup, tempting her to make a move. The bird were restless, chirping all about. Everything in the forest was alive and moving. It was bothersome.
"Kill me if you dare child" she thought as she waiting hoping that the wolf would move because it would only take one move to kill the pup, which she so badly wished to do. One last glance at Kain and she pounced toward the pup's throat. It would be so nice and tender as it went down that Reflection's mouth started to water mid pounce. Her eyes gleamed with the thrill of the kill.

Astraea was silent till Kain growled at her and talked about respect. Her mouth gapped open for a moment before she spoke."Respect?! Why when everyone wants to kill me? When every other female in this pack wants me dead? Why should i to anyone, who haven't helped me? You must earn respect correct? Well no one has earned it from me or even tried." There was hurt behind her words, her eyes softing. No one wanted nothing of her besides for maybe a snack. All i want is someone to care about me! She cried within herself.
Her gaze turned to Reflection, not liking the look on the female's face. She knew it then, trouble was going to erupt. Like she had said why respect those that wanted you dead? She stood still as the female moved towards her, this female was to be her first opponent? Had she not heard what she said, she knew nothing on fighting! Oddly Astraea was calm, playing the waiting game. It had seemed Reflection wasn't one to wait.
Seeing the adult female lunge for her throat Astraea stood still till the last minute. The young female was blessed with speed to save herself. She darted under the female before contact could be made. Jaws parted to give a nasty bite to the hind leg. But just as soon as her teeth sank in they released. She sprinted over to Kain to stand next to him, her fur bristled. Blue eyes looked up to him, wanting help. It wasn't fear that had made Astraea react quickly, but the simple need to live drove her. She couldn't taken in this female, she had wanted Kain, he was closer in size and she knew he could control how far he went.

Kain visibly slumped when Reflection lunged at Astrea. He sighed softly and shook his head.
When Astrea moved over beside him he turned to stand between her and Reflection.
"Stop it!" He barked, his neon eyes narrowed, "Astrea. I understand that you cannot gain what you haven't received, however, we're a group of crazy beasts here, so give us time." He said a faint smile softening his normally darkened features before he turned to Reflection, "And you. As Gamma here, I cannot have you attacking the pup that the alpha himself took in. I know she's hot-headed but so is everyone else here." He said, his tone soft and commanding at the same time.
Something had changed in this once cold-hearted brute, and only he knew what, don't think he was going to tell anyone though.
"Astrea. I will teach you on one condition. Don't tell anyone I'm being nice." He said, that crazy grin back in place on his muzzle, "I don't want Buzz thinking he can start pushing me around...he's already on my black list for getting so damn cocky towards me."

"The pup needs to learn sir. If I wanted her dead or harmed, she would be that already Sir." She said in a slave like manner. She couldn't resist his orders, even if he wasn't Gamma. She sighed and she licked her wound. She glanced at the pup and growled. She rolled her eyes. It was pointless to try and prove a point with a pup that didn't even fit into her paws.
The wound was bleeding slightly. She hadn't yelped. There was no point in showing weakness in the pack. It wouldn't get her anywhere. She stood up and tested the leg. She would get along ok.
She walked over to the pup and bared her teeth. If it wasn't for Kain and Raj, she would have torn the little bitch and she would be dead. She started to walk away hoping that she would be left alone. She didn't need the Raj, or Kain, or anybody. The splintered pieces of her mind were starting to shatter to dust and She would die alone, like she wanted.
She limped a bit and looked for a rabbit or tender meat or something to kill. He could go with the pup all he wanted. She turned away from him and ran off, a tear ran down her cheek. He didn't care about her anyway so why did it matter what she thought. She was just as low as the pup any way. She was nobody.

There was the obvious sigh of relief that sounded from the small white pup as Kain moved to stand between her and Reflection. Finally finally she felt some small ounce of safety, just that small gesture made the young pup ease her deep secret worries. Some how she believed she had gain Kain's good side at last. She might be far from being called a friend or anything, but it was a start. At least she had something to work up on, a starting point, a leg up. And for this she silently promised not to disappoint the black male.
Her rump plopped down in the lush green grass, ears perked up listening to every word.Calmly she nodded to his words in understanding.hot headed..yea..i have no idea where it comes from..maybe my father i never got to know? She thought. She had changed so much since the day her mother died, her true self only showing through once she came to Rafaern.
Blue gaze looked over at Reflection as she replied to Kain and tilted her head. How could someone just change like that, in a blink of an eye? But then again maybe it was because Reflection had respect for Kain. In that moment Astraea saw respect, something she had yet to truly see between two other wolves. But as the female walked over to her, her eyes hardened and ears flattened down. She knew for a fact, had she been alone this female would have killed her.
Astraea was so lost and confused, to have this female walk up and growl at her then turn to leave. Why couldn't she just give her a chance..and not piss her off? Truly Astraea was very smart and willing to learn. She sighed softly wondering if there would ever be a day she could be a friend with Reflection. Looking back at Kain she smalled and let a giggle slip out of her maw."Your secret is same with me. I promise." Her words held truth, she was not the type to break a promise, to say something behind another's back."And Kain..Thank you.." She added softly. She wanted to show respect, to learn and grow, to make the pack proud, another of her top goals.

Kain frowned slightly as Reflection spoke though tensed when she growled at the pup. However, when the female ran off his ears drooped slightly. He hadn't meant to chase her off.
The small black wolf glanced down at the pup as she spoke and nodded, "At this moment in time, I have something I must do. I will find you later to start your training." He stated in that deep voice of his that never seemed to match his body before turning and starting off in the direction Reflection went, though stopped and looked back at the pup, "I advise you to stay away from Reflection or anyone else that may harm you unless someone you trust is around. I'm sure quite a few around here would love to dig there fangs into you." Was the last thing he said before running off after Reflection.
